Catherine Azimi is an artist and creative professional based in Los Angeles and currently on sabbatical in Berlin. She recently pivoted from her role as Manager of the internationally renowned Eames House back to being a full time studio artist. Her work has been shown locally and abroad in both China and South Korea. In 2016 she was selected to be an Activate Arts Advocacy Program Fellow. In 2017 she was invited to speak about cultural policy and the role of
the arts in public space at the El Segundo Museum of Art. She is an active member of the High Desert Test Sites community in Joshua Tree, Ca and she collaborates frequently with fellow artists Christina Shurts and Ali Azimi. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach with an MFA in 2012.
